Hello little one, we are back with our new Lesson 2 Holi of Class 3 English of Sankardev Sishu Niketan School Assam. Read the following paragraph on Holi.

Understanding the Lesson

Holi is a festivel of spring. It is also the festivel of colours. It brings joy to us. Mother prepares sweets for us during Holi. We exchange abir with our friends and relatives. It is an expression of love. We give abir to our elders also. It is a mark of respect for them. We should avoid harmful colours. We should use good quality of abir.

Lord Shri Krishna Played Holi in Brindaban. He played with Radha and other companion. We observe Holi on the full Moon day of Spring. People should play Holi with devotion and love. It makes us happy.

Abir - One kind of coloured powder used in Holi, usually called 'Faku' in Assamese.
